Our Mission

The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its congressional Charter and the fundamental principles of the International Red Cross movement, will provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.

For 90 years, the American Red Cross has been assisting people affected by disasters in San Luis Obispo County. Thousands of volunteers and the generous financial contribution of the American people make the successful work of the Red Cross possible.
